The basis of any lawn is it's soil. Repeated applications of pesticides and high salt/nitrogen fertilizers will create a biologically inactive soil, resulting in shallow roots, thick thatch and the need for more fertilizer to compensate for inactive soil. Your lawn will gradually decline in appearance and health and suffer from recurring problems.
I focus on making the most of the soil's natural functions. I nurture the soil with rich organic matter and macro/micro nutrients that will develop a biologically active soil, resulting in a deeper root system, reduced thatch and vibrant green color. Your lawn will look better, be healthier, and resist the problems that plague chemically treated lawns.

In nature, the decomposition of forest leaf liter provides the essential organic nutrients for healthy plants. In our home landscape we remove this natural benefit. Our residential and commercial landscapes are often planted in inappropriate, unnatural settings, resulting in weak, unhealthy plants, falling victim to damaging insects and disease.
At Shoreline OrganiCare I provide rich organic matter and macro/micro nutrients, plus periodic inspections, with environmentally sound treatments to insure protection from devastating insects and diseases. This results in strong, healthy plants with more flowers and deep rich color.
Communication is essential to a successful lawn care program. As a Shoreline OrganiCare Customer, I'll keep you informed of changing environmental situations, insect problems and other concerns as they arise.
If there is ever a concern or question, I'll respond quickly. And you can always feel free to call me anytime or send me an Email with your questions, comments and concerns.
Weed, insect and disease problems will occasionally warrant the careful, limited use of certain pesticides. At Shoreline OrganiCare, I practice integrated Pest Management (IPM).
Pesticide free programs are also available. I treat difficult lawn, tree and shrub problems with intelligence and care.
Lawns may at times require replacement, seeding and/or aeration with overseeding. These services are available during certain times of the year. It is my job to keep you informed about your lawn's condition and to recommend these services if needed.
